Lessons
At Rivendell Ranch we have a wide variety of horses and ponies to
suit every rider’s needs. Whether you are a beginner (child or
adult) or are looking to advance your riding skills, our certified,
experienced instructors are here to assist you. Lessons take place
in our large outdoor sand ring or our large, bright indoor arena.
Spectators can watch the lesson in our heated viewing area.
Students are required to arrive a half hour before their lesson to
prepare their horse and stay a half hour after their lesson to cool
down and care for their horse.

Riders are required to wear footwear with a 1.5”, 90 degree heel and
an ASTM/SEI certified helmet. Helmets are provided free to
beginners for the first month. Helmets and other riding apparel can
be purchased at our Tack Shop. Students receive 20% off all
purchases.
Leasing/Part Boarding
Leasing/Part Boarding provides individuals with all the benefits
of owning our horse without the long term commitment. Lessors/part
boarders are able to ride one or several different horses depending
on their interests and abilities. Beginners may not ride without an
instructor.
