Summer and March Break Camps
At Rivendell Ranch it’s all about horses! Camps are
packed with equine information from equitation to husbandry for any
level horse enthusiast with heavy emphasis on safety, safety,
safety! Our instructors are certified, experienced and have
training in first aid and CPR. Instruction is tailored to each
individuals camper’s skill. Camp week strives to elevate any
rider’s skill level and focuses on establishing or strengthening
excellent riding skills, confidence and self-esteem. There is a 1:4
ratio instructor to rider ration with teacher assistants available
for any rider requiring additional assistance.
Campers will have horses assigned to them for the week.
Horses/ponies will be matched to the campers ability. This enables
campers and their horse/pony to develop a relationship both on the ground
and in the saddle.
RR
campers will have motivating riding demonstrations, clear and
precise how-to riding instruction and safe camp horses to practice
what they learn. All instruction is geared toward the camper’s
interest and is age appropriate.
Campers will enjoy other seasonal activities such as swimming, crafts, hiking, movies and building friendships (both of the equine and
human variety!)

GST)
